All comments go through an approval process on this site. How fast comments get approved really depends on our schedule. Most of the time it’s within 24 hours. However, like every human being should, we like to disconnect every so often and unplug our brains from the internet. You know, drop off the grid. In other words, you might see approval delays when we go on vacation.

Now let’s get the bad stuff out of the way. Take a deep breath, here we go… We reserve the right to disapprove any comment for any reason at any time. After all, it’s our site. Kinda ironic since we like to tout free speech, isn’t it? Well, look at it this way. If someone invites you into their home and they don’t like what you have to say, then they have every right to ask you to leave. See, the internet isn’t that much different from real life, is it?

Okay, now the good stuff. We’re not really bad people and by and far we approve almost all comments. However there are a few guidelines to follow to ensure your comment gets approved and in a timely manor.

  1. If you haven’t figured out by now, this is a conservative leaning site. While we welcome different opinions, we ask that you use tact when posting. If your comment is designed to attack or inflame, then chances are we won’t approve it. Nobody likes a troll. If you feel the need to go on a rampage, there are lots of liberal/progressive sites out there that might suit your views better.
  2. Please watch your language. I know, it’s just words… but words say a lot about a person. Honestly, we don’t really want to read or relay filth, so chances are the comment won’t get approved.
  3. Spare us the spam. If you have something cool to share, please do. However, if your primary intent when commenting is to advertise, then please refrain. Don’t be sneaky about it either. It might work once, but we catch on.
