Parents taking a stand
Kudos to these parents for making their kid own up to bad grades! One could make the argument that it’s the parents fault for letting their kid go down this path in the first place, however, it’s good to see they are putting their foot down. What a great idea too! Public embarrassment is a great motivating factor… that is until some rap star makes it cool to be a public flunky.
Trenton O’Neal stood near a light pole at the intersection of Airline Boulevard and Ahoy Drive in Chesapeake for hours on Saturday, a chest-to-trunk poster board of his bad grades dangling from his neck.
