Well this certainly is a fun exchange on the Today Show…

Matt Lauer was “served” and didn’t seem to like it one bit. I’ve never seen him get quite so heated or mad during and interview. And you could tell that Matt was used to being in the lead in an interview. But he didn’t like it when she was turning the tables on him.
I’m not a big fan of how Ann speaks personally, but you can tell she is an intelligent woman. She hit the nail on the head about liberals not wanting conservatives to be outspoken. Nicely done Ann!
Well, I have not ever seen Matt Lauer so torqued up myself. He seems so laid back most mornings. . . .
Huh, I wonder if he is opposed to war. He had both guns drawn from his eyes ready to shoot her down. I thought it unfair of him to cut her off so many times. I don’t care if you agree or disagree with someone that you choose to have on your show. You must give them time to speak. It is called respect. His mouth was running more than his mind.
I, too, think she is a little out of line with her comments and I personally won’t be buying/reading her book. I do credit her with her ability to stand up for herself. She defended herself well for being a guest on someone else’s less than hospitable show.
I do think we all should think about the family unit and the importance of it. It isn’t the kids’ fault that we as adults can’t get along. We need to grow up and commit to each other as people, making edifying relationships to raise up our quality of life. Money can’t do it. And writing a book while cutting someone down won’t do it either.
