    A Prudent Warning, or Blatent Slam?

    For the last eight years, Democrats have likened Bush to Hitler. Now that a Republican has done the same to Obama, suddenly all the liberals get upset. I find the hypocracy to be amusing.

    “It may sound a bit crazy and off base, but the thing is, he’s the one who proposed this national security force,” Broun told the AP. “I’m just trying to bring attention to the fact that we may– may not, I hope not — but we may have a problem with that type of philosophy of radical socialism or Marxism.”

    I think Broun’s apology is largely unnessary. The truth of the matter is that Obama made some pretty radical and alarming statements during his campaign. Some of these statements are contrary to the core of what this country was founded on. All that Mr. Broun did was call to attention the potential danger in these statements and put the situation in a historical perspective.
