What is really going on here?
There are two links included in this post as they are both relevent in different ways.
Government under Obama
Acorn efforts go a bit too far
I am utterly appalled at how easy it seems to be to get people to support Obama in his bid for the highest office in this country. He is being made out to be a savior of change, a messiah of sorts, and someone who will solve most all of the country’s problems. Yet how much do “we” as the public know about him? About details from his past? Who he associated with? What religions had he studied or been a part of? What clubs or associations was he a part of? And what were his early views on politics, society, religion, and government? All of this information is extremely relevent to who he is today and definitely has bearing on where he might be going in the future. I’m glad that other people are trying to get the word out on just how little we as a people konw about this “already won” presidential candidate. See the first video here..
If we all know one thing, politicians say what people want to hear on the campaign trail, whether it’s true or not. So you really can’t listen to what politicians say and believe that they will do just that once they get into office. There are many other factors to making changes in something as large as this country’s government. I personally feel more comfortable with McCain/Palin because public information on both is readily accessible. Everything about them (their past etc) is out there and available. I cannot say the same for Obama. And I’m really getting more and more shocked and upset by the fact that more people are not making this realization either.
I certainly do not think that the American public is stupid. But I do feel like we as a society have become way to complacent in our everyday lives. And that complacency leads to being won-over or convinced more easily than normal in my opinion. The media has become ferocious in this way…..with news stories and polls that I feel usually overstate how many people support Obama. In this way, they are trying to convince those undecideds to vote for Obama (because everyone else already is) by way of “peer pressure”. The media has been so preverse this time around in their choosing of a certain presidential candidate and then pushing him down our throats that it’s obvious. The media isn’t even trying to hide how they are pushing Obama to the masses.
There have been several instances cropping up where support for Obama has been showing up in unlikely and unwarranted places. Check out this blog post that Rob posted this morning read more about Obama’s partial bio (15 pages worth) showed up in an 8th grade school text book. I get the feeling that the Democrats, liberal celebrities, and the liberal media are all SO desperate to get Obama in there, they will literally stop at nothing. I am truly scared about this election this year. My heart aches for this country and the loss of morals, values, and principals upon which this country was founded upon. How could things have gotten this bad? When is this societal downward spiral going to stop? I hope and pray that the “silent majority” of this country will extend their power on election day and the right person for the job of president will be chosen.

YOU GO GIRL!!! Keep on that soap box!
not to mention, we don’t know for certain wether or not Obama is a naturalized citizen as required by the US constitution, he maintains a relationship with an unrepentant terrorist (William Ayers) who also helped him start his political career, and I hope you are ready for outright socialism with his brand new trillion dollar spending spree!! I’m gonna be sick …..
